The russians attacked Kyiv and other cities of Ukraine with cruise and ballistic missiles on the night and morning of June 1. Most of the missiles were shot down by the air defense forces, however several missiles caused damage. Civilians are reported dead, including a child.
As a result of the fall of debris in the Desnyansky district of the Ukrainian capital on a hospital and a nearby multi-storey building, 3 people were killed (including two children), 14 more were injured (9 were hospitalized, five were treated on the spot). The children who died at the hands of the Russians were approximately 5-6 and 12-13 years old.
In the Dnipro district of Kyiv, a residential building was damaged by debris, a fire was recorded in parked cars, and debris fell onto the roadway. In the Darnytskyi district, in one of the houses of the residential sector, windows were shattered by a blast wave.
When the air raid siren sounded, people ran to the nearest shelter. However, the shelter in the hospital turned out to be closed, and residents could not enter it. The next moment there were explosions. The man's wife died, while his child survived. Now the head, as well as the hospital guard, was detained by the police. Keeping the entrance to a hideout closed is a serious crime in wartime.
According to residents of neighboring houses, the hospital guard was at work and did not open the door to the shelter. People tried to find him for 15-20 minutes. The mayor of the city has already commented on the situation - he said that this is unacceptable and the perpetrators will be punished.
Below is another scary photo. A 9-year-old girl was killed in today's attack on Kyiv, and her grandfather is sitting next to her body. This man first squatted for several hours, then the locals found him a chair. Under a thin layer of foil is the body of his nine-year-old granddaughter, who, along with her mother, was killed by a russian missile today. He did not want to move away from the bodies until the experts took them from the scene. The girl has lived almost all her life in the conditions of russian aggression against Ukraine.
Several explosions were recorded in the Kharkiv region. Local authorities reported that there were deaths and damage to houses.
Later it turned out that as a result of this attack, a civilian was killed, another local resident was injured.
