The terrorist state seeks to destroy our cities, our state, our people. The enemy wants to scare the civilian population of the city of many thousands.
The head of the Zaporozhye Regional Military Administration announced that six missiles hit the city, as well as the island of Khortitsa. The city was fired from anti-aircraft missile systems. The shelling was carried out from Tokmak, which is under the control of Russian forces. As a result, a collapse occurred on the upper floors and a fire started. Partially destroyed apartments, balconies, damaged roofs and broken windows. The blast wave and debris also damaged nearby residential buildings, cars and other civilian infrastructure facilities. One of the rockets got stuck in the roof and didn't explode. One person died, 25 more were hospitalized, including two children. Another war crime was committed in the middle of the day in a residential area of a city of many thousands.
This must not become "just another day" in Ukraine or anywhere else in Europe or the world. The world needs greater unity and determination to defeat Russian terror faster and protect lives.
