On July 15, deafening explosions again sounded in Mykolaiv.
"Today, terrorist Russia attacked 2 major universities in Mykolaiv. At least 10 missiles. Now they are attacking our education. I ask the universities of all democratic countries to declare Russia what it really is a terrorist," wrote the head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration Vitaly Kim.
A large number of local residents in Mykolaiv studied at these universities, so the destruction of the buildings of the Shipbuilding and Pedagogical universities greatly upset them. Almost immediately, on social networks, eyewitnesses shared photos and videos from the site of the rocket explosions. After the missiles hit, a fire started, and 2 cars parked in the neighborhood also burned down. Work to eliminate the consequences continues.
It is reported that the Security Service of Ukraine catched fire spotters - they supplied the russian army with navigation data for the shelling of Mykolaiv and Bashtanka.
On Saturday, July 16, shelling of Mykolaiv continued. Consequences - production facilities, an outbuilding, 2 cars and deadwood were on fire. This was reported by the Emergency Situations Service of Ukraine in the Mykolaiv region. Firefighters have already extinguished the fire.
Another enemy rocket hit a warehouse in Odessa. The explosion was very strong. There were no deaths from this attack.
