According to Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, Putin ordered the preparation of a terrorist attack at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. The Russian troops are planning to cause a man-made disaster. The occupiers will try to transfer responsibility for it to Ukraine. The DI of Ukraine reports this on official Facebook page.
Currently, the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant is completely disconnected from the monitoring systems of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The station is de-energized. The resource of the available diesel generators is enough for 48 hours to maintain the operation of security systems.
The occupiers refused to provide access to the station to Ukrainian repairmen. According to the instructions of Alexander Lukashenko, the «Belarusian specialists» went there. Among them, Russian saboteurs also enter to organize a terrorist attack.
At the same time, in recent days, Putin's troops have launched attacks on the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant and the Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology (there is an experimental nuclear reactor there).
In order to imitate the involvement of the Ukrainian military in the accident at the Chernobyl, the occupiers are trying to create fake «evidence» to support their version. In particular, in the area of Antonov Airport in Gostomel, Russian automobile refrigerators collecting the bodies of the dead Ukrainian defenders were noted. There is a possibility that they will be presented as killed saboteurs in the Chernobyl area.
In other words, without the desired result from the ground operation and direct negotiations, Putin is ready to resort to the nuclear blackmail of the world community for the sake of concessions on the support of Ukraine.
«At present, both Ukraine, the world, and Russia itself understand that statements about Ukraine’s involvement in creating a nuclear danger are only staging according to a bottomless scenario. Despite this, such actions by Putin will have catastrophic consequences for the entire world. It seems that this is what the Russian dictator is counting on, demanding unacceptable concessions», - said the DI.
To recap, the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant has stopped transmitting information to the IAEA. Thus, the Agency lost the remote transmission of data from the security monitoring systems installed at the nuclear power plant.
Ukraine had previously appealed to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for NATO to deny access to airspace over nuclear facilities and to step up efforts to prevent acts of nuclear terrorism.
